Aurulum is the name under which we operate today. It covers the art activities of Montpelier Studio, London, Robert Sandelson, Cork Street and Narborough, Norfolk and is now based in Holland Park. Aurulum is the title of a painting by Bridget Riley that we bought in 1999 during the first full year of the gallery Joanne Merrison and I founded in Cork Street.

Recently we have highlighted the work of Gillian Ayres (1930-2018) who, over a long career, was so accomplished and ambitious. Like Riley in the1990s Ayres, we feel, has been overlooked and we are confident that this is only temporary.
